School-Based Physical Therapist - Lexington, Indiana

Requirements & Preferred Skills:

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy for students
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers
• Organization and time management to effectively serve multiple students in a limited weekly schedule

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students to help them maximize their functional abilities in the school setting
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Document progress and maintain thorough records compliant with school and legal requirements
• Consult with multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into students’ daily routines
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support student progress
• Participate in meetings as needed to revise plans and ensure student success
