Pharmacist - Little Rock, AR

An opportunity is available for a skilled pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy services at a large, 359-bed Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital with a Level 4 NICU. This hospital ranks among the top pediatric medical providers nationally and is known for its state-of-the-art facilities and progressive, passionate staff. Location: Little Rock, AR
Job Type: Direct Hire or Contract Option Available
Shift Hours:

• Night Shift: Thursday-Saturday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Sunday-Wednesday, 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend Option: Friday-Sunday, 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM
  Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off, starting Thursday night; weekend option every Friday-Sunday; no on-call duties.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist (RPH)
• Minimum 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience
• IV therapy experience or IV certification mandatory
• Ability to test negative for nicotine upon hire

Responsibilities:

• Manage medication preparation and dispensing within the inpatient pharmacy
• Ensure safe and optimal intravenous medication administration
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care in a Level 1 Trauma and Level 4 NICU setting
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
