Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting students in a vibrant educational setting near Stanwood, WA. From September 2, 2026, through June 14, 2027, collaborate with teachers and families to help K-12 students—primarily elementary and middle grades, with flexibility to work with high schoolers—reach their fullest potential. This assignment encompasses a 35-hour work week and a manageable caseload of approximately 32 students, fostering close connections and impactful interventions.

Your worksite locations will be split between two schools, providing variety and the chance to deliver services in diverse learning environments. The ability to be adaptable and proactive will serve you well as placement details are finalized.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Washington state Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certification in Occupational Therapy
  • Active professional licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Washington
  • Prior experience delivering OT services in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Comfortable working with students across elementary, middle, and high school age groups
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students on your caseload
  • Provide direct OT services within IEP guidelines
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and documentation
  • Adapt activities and environments to support student success
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations and school policies
