Qualifications & Experience:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in California
  • Proven experience or strong interest in school-based OT settings
  • Comprehensive understanding of IEP implementation and goal-setting
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, faculty, and families
  • Comfortable conducting both one-on-one and group therapy sessions
  • Ability to assess, plan, and document individualized interventions
  • Familiarity with a range of assistive technologies and OT tools

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students’ functional skills within school environments
  • Develop, implement, and track individualized treatment plans and IEPs
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers and staff to adapt classroom activities
  • Provide direct occupational therapy interventions and monitor student progress
  • Communicate progress to families and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation to support student success and regulatory compliance
  • Consult with staff and contribute strategies to enhance students' independence and participation in school routines
