\nIf you are a Manufacturing Finishing Operator professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! This 3rd shift role plays an important part in our manufacturing operations by helping ensure cast products meet quality and safety standards. You will operate a variety of equipment, perform inspections, and contribute to a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment while supporting the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
\nHiring for 3rd shift.
\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

- Safely grind parts \n
- Preform quality inspections to ensure iron meets proper specifications \n
- Remove gating and sprue from casting. Ensure that castings are not marked with hammer strike \n
- Sort large quantity of obvious scrap castings and notify supervisor \n
- Ensure that all castings are removed from sorting conveyor line to proper tubs or conveyors \n
- Operate Cleaning Press and small punch press to remove sprue without marking castings \n
- Operate cut off saw \n
- Operate hydraulic wedger \n
- Operate small cleaning machine \n
- Operate Tennant sweeper to clean shop floors \n
- Other duties as assigned \n

\nFor this Role, You Will Need:
\nHigh School diploma or equivalent
\nMust be able to read and preform basic math functions
\nAbility to meet the physical requirements include standing, lifting walking and bending, etc.
\nMust be willing to operate equipment safely
\nLegal authorization to work in the United States
