Job Description
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Retail Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available in Riverside, CA, offering a contract-to-hire arrangement with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The role is ideal for candidates licensed as California Pharmacy Technicians with some retail pharmacy experience or new graduates ready to start their career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Count and fill prescriptions accurately following pharmacy protocols
- Process and open inventory and orders efficiently
- Enter prescription data into the pharmacy system using Liberty software
- Assist with register operations and handle customer transactions professionally
- Support daily retail pharmacy operations to ensure smooth workflow
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid California Pharmacy Technician License
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred
- Recent graduates with relevant training are encouraged to apply
