This part-time contract opportunity spans two welcoming school sites and serves PreK through 8th grade students. Ideal for dedicated professionals seeking flexible hours, this role is structured for 25-30 hours each week, with the possibility of extending to full-time if desired (30 hours or more). Prepare classrooms and therapy spaces starting August 3, and support students from their first day, August 10, through the end of the school year in May 2027.

Utilize your knowledge in schools, healthcare, and home health to help young learners unlock their potential through hands-on therapeutic interventions. This in-person role offers a dynamic, collaborative environment, working alongside passionate educators and school-based specialists.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Nevada Occupational Therapy license, or the ability to obtain one before start date
  • Prior experience in school-based, home health, or healthcare occupational therapy settings
  • Familiarity with supporting PreK-8th grade student populations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborative teamwork with staff, students, and families
  • Demonstrated adaptability and enthusiasm for working across two school locations

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct OT services to students in PreK-8th grade
  • Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement customized intervention plans
  • Document progress and maintain records in compliance with educational and legal standards
  • Assist with classroom and therapy space preparation prior to student arrival
  • Participate in meetings and parent conferences as needed
  • Inspire confidence and independence in students across a diverse learning community
