Job Description
As a vital member of the patient care team, you will assess, evaluate, and provide services in accordance with a treatment plan developed by a physician. You will also oversee the activities of Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring quality care is delivered. Peer evaluations will be conducted for your assessments.
Key Responsibilities of the Registered Physical TherapistConduct thorough assessments, which may include OASIS data elements, to determine the patient's physical functioning and need for therapy services.
Engage in discussions with the physician, gather insights from the patient or caregiver, and formulate a care plan aimed at maximizing the patient's rehabilitation potential.
Implement prescribed treatments and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in executing the therapy program.
Develop and instruct patients on a home exercise program (HEP), documenting the instructions in visit notes.
Monitor and report any significant changes in the patient's functioning to the physician, and communicate these changes to other team members involved in the patient's care.
Ensure all services are documented appropriately in accordance with agency policies.
Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions and situations.
Provide the agency with necessary documentation, including a copy of your license/registration, to verify your qualifications.
Accept only those assignments for which you are qualified.
Adhere to all applicable State, Federal, Local, and agency regulations, policies, and procedures.
Keep all patient and agency information confidential.
Follow all policies and procedures, including those related to HIPAA compliance.
Regulatory Requirements:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program recognized by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association.
Must be licensed/registered as a Physical Therapist in the State of Texas.
At least one year of recent experience as a Physical Therapist.
Current licensure in the State of Texas is required.
A minimum of one year of experience working under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist.
This position is part of our Driver Safety Program, requiring a valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with limits of at least 100,000/300,000/100,000.

Compensation RangeThe salary range provided below represents a good faith estimate of the starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. Actual pay may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications, including skills, experience, education, and certifications.
$93,000 - $128,000 annually
This position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on individual and/or company performance.
