Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A direct hire opportunity is available for an Evening Shift Staff Pharmacist to work in a closed-door, long-term care facility. This role is essential for maintaining high-quality pharmaceutical services and ensuring patient safety during evening hours.
Location: Foxborough, Massachusetts
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
- Rotating weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial prescription reviews using Frameworks software (training provided)
- Perform final medication checks and verifications
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
- Accurately dispense medications, maintaining compliance with facility policies
- Manage daily workflow efficiently in a high-volume environment (approximately 600 prescriptions per day)
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active and clear Massachusetts Pharmacist license required
- Demonstrated pharmacy experience preferred but open to new graduates
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Reliable and professional approach to patient care and team collaboration
