Pharmacist Opportunity – Inpatient Behavioral Health Setting

This role involves providing critical pharmacist coverage in an inpatient behavioral health environment located in the St. Charles, MO area. The position is per diem, ideal for pharmacists seeking flexible assignments with impactful patient care responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide pharmacist coverage during assigned shifts supporting inpatient behavioral health patients.
  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, adhering to hospital policies.
  • Utilize Omnicell systems for medication repackaging, restocking, and inventory management.
  • Prepare doses using systems such as Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL.
  • Perform medication loading and restocking for automated dispensing machines.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure safe and effective medication therapy.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Active Missouri Pharmacist license (MO License) required.
  • Experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy and clinical pharmacy services.
  • Familiarity with Omnicell automated dispensing systems preferred.
  • Ability to operate medication repackaging equipment (Milt, Medi-dose, HCL) is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of hospital inpatient pharmacy workflows.

Schedule & Location:

  • Assignment dates: August 6, 7, and August 10 through 14.
  • Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (30-minute unpaid meal break).
  • Location: St. Charles, Missouri (behavioral health inpatient hospital).
