School Occupational Therapist | Marysville, Washington

Step into a dynamic and rewarding environment as an Occupational Therapist supporting K-12 students in the Marysville, WA region. In this contract position, you’ll work with a caseload of 32 students, primarily elementary and middle school, with the possibility of some high school involvement. Your impact will span two schools in the area, with detailed assignments finalized prior to the start date.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Stanwood, WA
• Assignment period: September 2, 2026 – June 14, 2027
• 35 hours per week, during the school calendar year

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Washington State Occupational Therapist license
• ESA (Educational Staff Associate) Certification in OT required
• School-based OT experience, especially with K-12 students, preferred
• Ability to adapt skillset to serve students across various developmental stages
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Willingness to work at multiple school sites as determined by assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ functional abilities and develop individualized intervention plans
• Provide direct and consultative OT services in accordance with student IEPs
• Offer support and resources to educators and families to optimize student engagement
• Monitor student progress through data collection and ongoing assessment
• Maintain accurate records and required documentation
• Contribute actively to IEP team meetings and collaborate on goal-setting
