Pharmacist | Levittown, Pennsylvania

Located in Levittown, PA, this opportunity offers a pivotal leadership role as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) overseeing a 503A Compounding Pharmacy. This position carries full regulatory accountability for state, federal, FDA 503A, and USP compliance, ensuring safe and efficient execution of both sterile and non-sterile compounding operations.

Term of assignment is a 13-week contract with potential for hire.

Responsibilities include acting as the legally designated PIC for all non-resident state pharmacy licenses, serving as the primary contact for Boards of Pharmacy and regulatory agencies, and ensuring compliance through proper reporting of operational or ownership changes. You will lead all aspects of sterile and non-sterile compounding operations, including quality assurance, continuous improvement, and supervising pharmacists, compounding supervisors, technicians, and production staff. Managing batch records, production scheduling, inventory accuracy, and capacity planning are also key elements of this role.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Flexible Saturdays as needed

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as Pharmacist-in-Charge or Pharmacy Manager
• Thorough knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, <800>, and applicable state and federal regulations related to 503A compounding pharmacy operations
• Demonstrated experience leading audits and managing regulatory inspections
