Qualifications and Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience working in schools or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively advocate for student needs
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Familiarity with IEP documentation and goal-setting for student progress
• Creative problem-solving and an adaptable approach to diverse student populations

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of students’ motor skills, sensory processing, and developmental needs within the educational environment
• Develop and deliver tailored OT interventions to support academic, social, and functional skills
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies in the classroom
• Contribute to IEP meetings by providing expert input and progress updates
• Maintain timely and accurate records, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Educate and empower staff and caregivers on strategies to enhance student engagement and participation
