Step into a vital role supporting students from PreK through 8th grade in the Las Vegas, NV area. A flexible, contract opportunity awaits an Occupational Therapist eager to make an impact across two dynamic school sites. This position offers 25–30 hours per week, with the potential to expand to full-time (30+ hours) if needed. You’ll begin with preparation starting August 3, giving you a head start before students arrive on August 10. The contract extends through May 31, 2027, allowing you to provide consistent, in-person support as students grow and achieve their goals.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess or be eligible to obtain Nevada Occupational Therapy licensure prior to start
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based OT, including PreK-8th grade settings
  • Background in home health or broader healthcare OT is a plus
  • Comfort and enthusiasm for working in-person with diverse student populations
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and staff
  • Ability to travel between two assigned school sites in the greater Henderson/Las Vegas area

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services tailored to students’ IEPs and individual needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and review effective intervention strategies
  • Conduct assessments, document progress, and contribute to ongoing student evaluations
  • Provide education and guidance to families and school staff to enhance student participation and success
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as school-specific protocols
