Make a positive impact on students' lives as a contract Occupational Therapist supporting K-12 learners in the Lynnwood, WA area. This opportunity centers around covering a K-12 caseload for a leave through early December, with a manageable roster of about 40 students. The role is perfect for a dedicated professional who is passionate about delivering IEP-related services within a supportive school environment and is eager to collaborate with educational teams.

Start date for this assignment is September 3rd, 2026, with an expected end date of December 1st, 2026. You will work 7 hours per day, 5 days per week, providing valuable therapy and intervention services to students across grade levels.

Qualifications:

  • Washington Department of Health (DOH) Occupational Therapist License (active or eligible)
  • Washington Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certificate – School Occupational Therapist (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience working with K-12 students is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students per their IEPs
  • Evaluate student needs, set measurable goals, and monitor progress
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Engage in school-based meetings to advocate for students’ needs
