Job Description
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available for a contract role located in Oak Ridge, TN. This position involves supporting pharmacy operations by accurately distributing prescribed medications and delivering exceptional customer service.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (8.5 hours per day)
- Coverage from July 27, 2026, through September 11, 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Provide detailed medication information and guidance to customers
- Maintain compliance with all federal and state pharmacy regulations
- Ensure the pharmacy environment is organized and efficient
- Uphold a superior level of customer service at all times
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Pharmacy Technician license for Tennessee
- Experience in retail pharmacy or long-term care settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
