A national organization in the funeral planning and cremation services industry is hiring a Customer Relations Specialist for a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity in the Fort Lauderdale and Plantation, FL area.
This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, resolving concerns, and helping customers make important decisions with empathy and professionalism. This is not a cold-calling sales position. You will support existing customers with questions, billing matters, service concerns, and cancellation requests while identifying solutions that improve satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional bilingual customer service to existing customers by phone in English and Spanish.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls related to customer concerns, billing questions, account updates, and cancellation requests.
- Listen carefully to customer needs, de-escalate sensitive conversations, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Support customer retention by presenting available options while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Accurately process cancellations when necessary in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Document customer interactions thoroughly and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Job type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Schedule: Full-time, primarily Monday through Friday.
- Flexibility required to support multiple U.S. time zones.
- Employees rotate into later shifts approximately 2 to 3 days per week, typically 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
