Inpatient Night Pharmacist

Looking for a night shift hospital opportunity where you can make a meaningful impact? We're seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join a nationally recognized pediatric teaching hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacists who thrive in a fast paced, collaborative inpatient environment and are looking for a contract position.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders for hospitalized patients
• Perform clinical order verification and support patient care teams
• Prepare and verify sterile IV medications
• Ensure safe medication distribution and compliance with hospital policies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff to optimize patient care
• Participate in a 7 on/7 off overnight schedule with no on-call responsibilities

Schedule

• 7 on / 7 off Night Shift
• Thursday-Saturday: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Sunday-Wednesday: 8:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• No on call requirements

Requirements

• Active Arkansas Pharmacist License
• Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• IV certification or at least 2 years of IV compounding experience required
• Strong clinical judgment and inpatient order verification experience
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
