A full-time OT is needed to cover a maternity leave, serving students across two elementary schools and assisting a private school student as well. Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license required
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred
- Expertise in evaluating and implementing therapeutic interventions for elementary-level students
- Ability to adapt intervention plans to meet Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Skilled in managing a diverse caseload and travel between school sites
Responsibilities:
- Deliver OT services to identified students at two elementary schools and one private school
- Assess students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrative staff, and parents to support student progress
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and complete required reports in compliance with school regulations
- Contribute to IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations and updates on student goals
- Maintain a flexible work schedule to provide the highest standard of care across different sites
