Job Overview:

  • Work three 24-hour shifts within each pay period.
  • Care for a maximum of 8 patients daily.
  • Key responsibilities include: assessing, stabilizing, diagnosing, treating, and determining the disposition of patients in the Emergency Department.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.
  • Experience in emergency or critical care settings is preferred.

Our Facility: We are a Critical Access Hospital providing a wide range of healthcare services. Our facility includes a 3-bed Emergency Department and a 20-bed medical-surgical unit to accommodate various inpatient needs. Additionally, we offer numerous outpatient services, such as laboratory testing, radiology, rehabilitation, infusion services, and ambulatory surgery.

Location: Our hospital is situated in Dyersville, a charming city located in eastern Delaware County and western Dubuque County, with a population of around 4,360. Dyersville is famous for being the filming location of the Field of Dreams, as well as home to the National Farm Toy Museum and the Basilica of St. Francis Xavier.
