About This Oral Surgery Position

Join an organization dedicated to enhancing lives, one smile at a time! We create over a million smiles annually in the communities we serve, believing that everyone deserves access to quality and affordable dental care. This mission is at the heart of our operations.

We are currently looking for an Oral Surgeon to become part of our dental team on a PRN basis. This opportunity is designed to fit seamlessly into your existing schedule rather than replace it. Our oral surgery program allows providers to make a significant impact without the burdens of overhead or the long-term commitment associated with a full-time role. If you are an active oral surgeon seeking a reliable PRN position in a supportive dental environment, this opportunity is tailored for you.

Responsibilities

Our oral surgery practice is equipped with:

  • DentaPro software for efficient management.
  • Digital x-ray and Panorex imaging systems.
  • Dedicated dental assistants trained specifically for oral surgery procedures.
  • Annual training in OSHA, HIPAA, and Emergency Management protocols.

As an Oral Surgeon, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting third molar extractions, including those that are impacted.
  • Performing surgical and complex extractions as clinically indicated.
  • Providing oral surgery care in a safe and efficient manner within a well-supported dental environment.
  • Collaborating with our dental office teams to ensure compliant and patient-centered care.
Qualifications

We expect our Oral Surgeon to possess the following:

  • DDS or DMD degree from a CODA-accredited dental school.
  • Completion of a CODA-accredited residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
  • Active dental license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, DEA, and any relevant state credentials.
  • A compassionate approach and a strong commitment to providing oral surgery care in a community dental setting.

We prioritize teamwork, mutual respect, and collaboration. Our organization maintains a strict policy against unlawful discrimination, including harassment, and we do not tolerate such behavior in our workplace. We uphold a commitment to equality, ensuring no discrimination based on race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, age, citizenship, disability, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
