Job Description
Crovetti Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is seeking an Orthopedic Physician Assistant to work alongside our total joints surgeons at both of our clinics and ASC's. Crovetti Orthopaedics is a very active and innovative Arthroplasty and Sports Medicine practice with clinics both in Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada, including two Surgery Centers as well as two overnight Recovery Suites for Arthroplasty patients.
\nThe successful candidate will have experience assisting in surgeries and providing perioperative patient care. Our practice includes a mix of orthopedic surgeons with a range of skills including joint replacement, fracture care, foot and ankle, and sports medicine.
\nMust be energetic in nature and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Starting salary is competitive for the market

Prior experience in an operating room setting is required

Prior experience in orthopedics preferred but not required

Requirements:

Successful completion of an approved Physician's Assistant program, accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education

NV Physician Assistant License
\n - \n
Current CPR/BLS
\n - \n
Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances
\n - \n
Excellent communication skills and ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work effectively within a team

Provide comprehensive patient care in surgical settings, including conducting physical examinations and patient assessments.
\n - \n
Administer injections and assist in perioperative care under the supervision of surgeons.
\n - \n
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality.
\n - \n
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement health coaching strategies.
\n - \n
Utilize medical terminology effectively in documentation and communication.
\n - \n
Participate in critical care and triage as needed, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
