Step into a rewarding contract position providing essential Occupational Therapy services to K-12 students in a supportive educational environment. Located near Mount Vernon in beautiful Washington state, this assignment runs from September 2, 2026, through June 14, 2027, with a steady 35-hour workweek. You’ll have the unique opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of approximately 32 students, primarily at the elementary and middle school levels, with some possible high school involvement. Your expertise will be utilized across two school sites, offering variety and meaningful engagement throughout the academic year.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Washington State Professional Licensure in Occupational Therapy
  • Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certification in OT
  • Experience or interest in working with K-12 populations, especially elementary and middle school
  • Flexibility and a positive, collaborative attitude with both students and interdisciplinary teams
  • Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative OT services to students on your caseload
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting functional, academic, and social skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Travel between two school sites as assigned, adapting to the needs of each campus and age group
