POSITION DESCRIPTION Asset Management – Stock & Logistics Operations Department: Information Technology | FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt | Employment Type: Full-Time POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced Asset Management Team Lead to oversee the end-to-end Stock Management and Logistics Operations supporting enterprise IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for leading daily warehouse and asset management operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating logistics activities, managing staƯ, and serving as the primary liaison between the client, logistics partners, and internal IT teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience managing IT asset lifecycle operations, and a solid understanding of inventory control, logistics coordination, and end-user computing environments. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Stock & Asset Management Lead daily stock management and warehouse operations for IT assets including laptops, desktops, monitors, peripherals, printers, handheld devices, and mobile equipment. Maintain agreed inventory levels while collaborating with clients and logistics partners to forecast future demand. Oversee monthly stock audits and inventory reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance. Perform ad-hoc stock verification and physical inventory counts as requested by the client. Ensure accurate asset tracking and data integrity within ServiceNow and other inventory management systems. Coordinate equipment disposal activities in accordance with client security and compliance standards. Monitor peripheral usage trends and replenish stock to maintain operational readiness. Support asset lifecycle management including receiving, staging, deployment, returns, redeployment, and disposal. Generate inventory reports, analyze stock movement, and recommend inventory optimization strategies. Logistics Operations Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of IT assets across multiple client locations. Work closely with logistics providers and internal delivery teams to facilitate timely stock movements. Track shipping costs and identify opportunities for logistics optimization and cost reduction. Ensure all equipment is accurately received, inspected, labelled, and booked into inventory systems. Rationalize part numbers and maintain standardized inventory records. Support enterprise-wide deployment, refresh, and migration projects. Client & Cross-Functional Collaboration Act as the primary liaison between the client, logistics partners, and internal IT delivery teams. Collaborate with Desktop Support, Service Desk, Device Lifecycle Management, and other support teams to coordinate asset availability and project execution. Participate in operational meetings and provide inventory status updates, demand forecasts, and performance metrics. Drive process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy, operational eƯiciency, and customer satisfaction. Required Technical Skills Strong understanding of end-user IT hardware including laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, handheld devices, mobile phones, docking stations, and peripherals. Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM) and inventory lifecycle processes. Hands-on experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms. Strong Microsoft OƯice skills, particularly Microsoft Excel for reporting and inventory analysis. Experience using inventory management systems and warehouse management tools. Working knowledge of imaging and deployment processes (SCCM, Intune, PXE, Autopilot) is preferred. Strong analytical, reporting, and data reconciliation skills. Business & Leadership Skills Excellent leadership and people management abilities. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions. Ability to drive issues through to resolution while maintaining service excellence. Strong organizational and planning skills with experience managing operational KPIs and SLAs. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Risk Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field; OR Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience. Experience 5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, Warehouse Operations, Stock Management, or Logistics. Previous experience leading warehouse or logistics teams in an enterprise IT environment. Experience supporting large-scale hardware deployment, refresh, or migration projects. Familiarity with enterprise IT service management and asset lifecycle best practices. Experience working within SLA-driven environments. Certifications (Preferred) Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate CompTIA Network+ CompTIA Security+ CompTIA A+ ITIL Foundation Certification PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT The demands below are representative of those required to perform this role's essential functions.
