\nIf you are an Engineer with experience in control systems and/or process operations, Emerson has a great opportunity for you! We are looking to add a Proposal Engineer for Power Projects to our Cranberry Township, PA office. You will be an essential part of the North America Power Projects Proposals organization as a proposal engineer leading retrofit proposal support. You will lead the preparation of power project offers for our customers in the power industry.

\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
\n- \n
- Prepare DCS proposals for power industry projects in response to customer requests for proposals. \n
- Define proposal strategies that align with customer specifications, based on organizational goals, market insight, and expert process and product knowledge. \n
- Collaborate across teams to validate technical feasibility, engineering requirements, and cost‑effective solutions. \n
- Engage directly with customers to communicate Emerson’s capabilities and understand application needs. \n
- Develop optimal project cost structures that mitigate technical risk and strengthen competitive positioning. \n
- Support presentations, interviews, and negotiations utilizing a thorough understanding of customer applications and Emerson capabilities and products. \n
- Partner effectively with sales, engineering, project teams, and global offices as needed to deliver cohesive proposal packages.

\nFor This Role, You Will Need:

BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
\n - \n
Knowledgeable in distributed control systems (DCS) and/or process operation.
\n - \n
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
\n - \n
Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
\n- \n
- Experience with control systems such as PLC or SCADA. \n
- Knowledge of or experience with the Ovation™ DCS platform. \n
- Background in proposal development, cost estimating, or project engineering.
