Our organization is on the lookout for Gastroenterology Physicians to join a Hospitalist Model at our new facility in Syracuse, NY.

Position Highlights:
  • Act as a GI Hospitalist, delivering inpatient consultations and conducting procedures.
  • Engage with a comprehensive health system that is part of one of the largest multi-institutional Catholic healthcare networks in the country.
  • Work on a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule.
  • Administration is highly supportive of the growth and vision of the GI department.
  • Access to a vast network of primary care and specialty physicians.
  • Currently, call responsibilities involve one weekend per month, with affiliated groups covering evenings and weekends.
  • The average hospital inpatient volume is 15-20 patients, with 3-7 new consultations each day.
  • Opportunities for resident education and clinical research are available.

The practice aims to enhance and develop expertise in the following areas:

  • Advanced Endoscopy, including EUS with therapeutics, Advanced ERCP techniques, EMR/ESD, and enteroscopy.
  • Inflammatory bowel disease management.
  • Non-transplant Hepatology.
  • Esophageal and rectal manometry.

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE

Our organization provides a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, which includes:

  • Signing Bonus.
  • The stated salary represents the initial range of total compensation and does not account for productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, and other applicable cash compensation. Additionally, providers generally receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. Please be aware that this salary range is provided in compliance with state law and may vary based on the aforementioned factors.
  • CME time along with a $4,500 annual expense allowance.
