Job Description
Our organization is looking for a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare and medical services team. This position is based on-site and involves implementing treatment plans designed by therapists to improve the independence, safety, and overall quality of life for our senior residents across various living arrangements, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
Key Responsibilities- Execute therapist-created treatment plans aimed at enhancing residents' independence and safety.
- Provide training in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and facilitate functional mobility exercises.
- Conduct therapeutic exercises tailored to individual resident needs.
- Document residents' progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other therapists to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate families about treatment plans and progress to foster understanding and support.
- Certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
