Child Psychiatrist - Per Diem
Job Description
Our organization is actively looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Child Psychiatrist to become a part of our team at the Behavioral Medicine Center within the Department of Psychiatry. This role entails providing onsite weekend inpatient rounds in child behavioral health units, along with offering concurrent call coverage.
The work schedule can be either intermittent or regularly scheduled, tailored to meet the needs of the department.
Key Responsibilities:Performing inpatient rounds and addressing acute psychiatric conditions, either independently or in collaboration with residents and/or nurse practitioners.
Responding to calls and assisting psychiatric residents in managing cases.
Working alongside a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Offering supervision or consultation to residents and/or nurse practitioners when they are present.
The duties may be carried out independently or in partnership with Nurse Practitioners, and in a training environment, may involve collaboration with residents and/or students when available.
Compensation & Benefits:The starting base compensation for this position ranges from $190 to $195 per hour, which may be adjusted based on years of experience and/or faculty rank. This figure does not encompass variable compensation or additional productivity incentives and is subject to the specific compensation plans of the department. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
