Pharmacist | Port Allen, Louisiana

An opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to work in a specialty pharmacy environment focused on Medication Therapy Management (MTM). The role is based onsite in Port Allen, LA, with work performed in Baton Rouge. This position offers a contract-to-hire arrangement, beginning with a 13-week assignment plus potential extension or direct hire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pharmacist duties aligned with specialty pharmacy MTM processes
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in medication dispensing and production
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapy
• Maintain adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Louisiana pharmacy license required
• Licensure in at least one of these states preferred, with willingness to reciprocate for Louisiana licensure if applicable:Alaska, Arkansas, California, District of Columbia, Delaware, Hawaii, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wyoming
• Experience in retail and/or specialty pharmacy settings
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulations

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Onsite presence is required; remote work will not be considered
