Exciting Opportunity for an Electrophysiologist

Our organization in Mason City, Iowa, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Electrophysiologist to become a part of our Cardiology department. We are a physician-owned, multi-specialty group dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare.

Opportunity Highlights
  • Join a dynamic team consisting of 10 physicians, 10 fellows, and 7 Nurse Practitioners.
  • Participate in a 1:6 call rotation, with the potential for additional call opportunities that offer a $500 per diem, and fellows will take first call.
  • Engage in a practice that encompasses inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic services.
  • Perform procedures such as ICDs, pacemakers, ablations (including pulse field technology), and loop recorders.
  • Access a comprehensive range of cardiology services, including non-invasive, invasive, interventional, and electrophysiology, collaborating closely with cardiac and vascular surgery teams.
  • Benefit from training opportunities through our Cardiology fellowship program.
  • Work at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a 342-bed regional referral teaching hospital.
  • Be part of a Level III Trauma Center with a fully staffed emergency department available 24/7, along with hospitalist services, helicopter access, and advanced catheterization labs.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Attractive guaranteed base salary of $785,104 per year, plus production incentives (2-year guaranteed base).

Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited medical or osteopathic medical school is required.
  • Completion of an appropriate residency program demonstrating competency as a physician; board certification or eligibility is necessary.
  • Must be able to obtain medical staff privileges at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Must hold or be eligible for a physician license in the State of Iowa, as well as an Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
