This part-time opportunity is ideal for a Periodontist looking for consistent, well-supported clinical days that can easily fit alongside other professional commitments or an existing practice.

We empower specialists to concentrate on patient care while making a significant clinical impact. Candidates are not required to reside locally; travel to El Paso is encouraged and supported.

Key Responsibilities

The role entails delivering periodontal and implant surgical care across various case types. Providing same-day surgical services may be part of the practice model when clinically appropriate, in addition to scheduled consultations, follow-ups, and planned surgical interventions.

  • Diagnose and treat periodontal and peri-implant diseases.
  • Perform comprehensive periodontal and implant surgeries, including:
    • Pocket reduction and osseous surgery.
    • Soft-tissue grafting and flap procedures.
    • Crown lengthening.
    • Implant placement.
    • Grafting and sinus augmentation as needed.
  • Manage a variety of surgical cases, consultations, and follow-ups based on patient requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with general dentists, hygienists, and assistants to ensure efficient care delivery and case acceptance.
  • Maintain precise documentation and comply with clinical and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree.
  • Completion of a CODA-accredited residency in Periodontics.
  • Active dental license in Texas.
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility is preferred.
  • Experience in providing periodontal and implant surgical care in a clinical environment.
  • Ability to work within flexible scheduling models, including occasional same-day surgical procedures.
