A NC Facility Needs a Locums General Surgeon

Key Responsibilities- On-call coverage with rounding responsibilities
- Average call duties include: 4 phone consultations, 4 patient visits, and 4 admissions per 24-hour period
- Work within an inpatient hospital environment
- Provide call coverage for unassigned patients
- Required skills in laparoscopic procedures such as appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernioplasty
- Experience in breast surgery, vascular surgery, and plastic surgery is necessary
- Proficiency in GI endoscopy, including upper and lower endoscopies, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy
- Pediatric surgery and trauma experience is preferred
