Senior Specialist, Fund/Client Accounting

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist in Fund/Client Accounting to join our team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL. There is a four day in office requirement.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

\n

\n
• Conduct accounting services on behalf of assigned clients and moderately complex funds, including determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses, and preparing reports.
\n
• Drive service improvement plans, target efficiencies, enhance processes, and perform specialist review functions.
\n
• Provide input into methodologies and check the work of more junior team members.
\n
• Provide guidance and review work related to cash and asset reconciliations for complex accounts or transactions and resolve reconciliation issues for more complex or atypical transactions.
\n
• Draft reports for clients regarding the performance of complex funds and review draft reports completed by more junior staff.
\n

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
\n
• 5-7 years of total work experience preferred.
\n
• Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred.
\n
