Pharmacy Technician - Yonkers, New York

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A direct hire opportunity is available for a Day Shift Production Pharmacy Technician at a closed-door long-term care facility in Bardonia, New York. This role focuses on preparing and packaging medications to support timely delivery for residents, requiring precision and attention to detail in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare medications using appropriate packaging methods such as blister packs and unit-dose systems
• Support medication ordering, receiving, and stocking processes while monitoring storage conditions and expiration dates
• Maintain accurate patient and medication records to ensure compliance and safety
• Cross-train in both the dosage department and toting functions to support workflow flexibility
• Adapt to a high-volume workload, processing approximately 600 prescriptions per day

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year pharmacy technician experience is required
• NY State Pharmacy Technician License is preferred but not mandatory
• PTCB certification is a plus, though not required
• Familiarity or willingness to learn Frameworks software system
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Rotating weekends required
