Pharmacist in Quincy, MA

A pharmacist opportunity is available in a rehab hospital setting located in Quincy, MA. This contract role offers an immediate start and extends for a minimum of 13 weeks. The schedule consists of Monday through Friday day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in a rehab hospital environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use.
• Utilize Epic and Pyxis systems for medication management and documentation.
• Provide patient counseling and medication education as needed.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in Massachusetts (including new graduates and retail pharmacists willing to transition).
• Experience with hospital pharmacy operations is preferred.
• Proficiency in Epic and Pyxis pharmacy information systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
