Material Handler- $20.00 - $21.50

Pay Schedule: Weekly Pay + Benefits 401K

Schedule: Rotating 12-hour schedule – 2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on -Enjoy every other weekend off

Shift Options: • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM • Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Duties:

· Transport, maintain and stock raw materials and completed products for manufacturing processes.

· Coordinate with department managers and personnel to support their respective operations.

· Ability to understand paper stock material thickness, foil differences, Gripper/Guide differences.

· Keep most stock criteria to supply departments with different stock materials to departments production ready.

· Must have the ability to drive all forklifts efficiently and accident free while moving materials efficiently throughout the plant and on and off racks.

· Ability to keep separate critical items of products and clearly mark them with labels or other identifying methods.

· Maintain a safe environment for personnel and machinery, while following all company safety manuals and company safety procedures and initiatives.

· Ability to handle all turning operations cleanly, safely, well jogged and in exact required orientation.

· Perform daily cleaning of the Automaton as well as the routine maintenance per the manual.


Skills:

· Good comprehension skills and ability with little training to learn the automaton, our hand and powered lifts. Ability to learn most material characteristics of our products and materials.

· Ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and /or 10 to 25 pounds frequently.

· Ability to stand and perform the requirements of the position up to 12 hours with a few short breaks. Willingness to abide by all plant practices and procedures.

· Forklift certified of able to obtain forklift certification. Overtime is an expected requirement.

· Ability to maintain great attendance and tardy record.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED preferred. Ability to apply written and verbal instructions to set-up machine and operation. Perform simple mathematical calculations-addition, subtraction, multiplication.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $21.50 per hour
