Position Overview:This role focuses on the inpatient pharmacy setting, requiring an experienced pharmacist with a minimum of two years of intravenous (IV) experience or IV certification. The position is primarily a night shift, operating on a rotating 7-on/7-off schedule starting Thursday night, with weekend shift options available. Shift hours vary between late evening to early morning and weekend midday to late evening shifts. Importantly, this role requires the candidate to test negative for nicotine, underscoring the facility’s commitment to a healthy workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee inpatient pharmacy operations during assigned night shifts.
  • Prepare, verify, and dispense IV medications with strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Utilize clinical expertise to support patient care in a Level 1 Trauma and Level 4 NICU setting.
  • Participate in weekend coverage as per the rotation schedule without on-call duties.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Pharmacist license (RPH).
  • Minimum two years of inpatient pharmacy experience.
  • IV certification or equivalent IV experience is mandatory.
  • Ability to work night shifts and flexible weekend schedules.
  • Must test negative for nicotine use.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Night Shift: Thursday to Saturday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; Sunday to Wednesday, 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
  • Weekend Option: Friday to Sunday, 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM.
  • Rotating schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off.
