Job Description
Our organization is in search of a dedicated and empathetic Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to assist residents in enhancing their independence and overall quality of life. This position is based on-site and involves implementing occupational therapy treatment plans tailored to the needs of seniors in various living arrangements, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
Key Responsibilities- Execute therapeutic interventions aimed at improving activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and functional skills.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Participate in care planning to ensure personalized approaches for each resident.
- Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding therapy processes and goals.
- Certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA).
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
