We are currently looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified OB/GYN to become part of our established team in Ruidoso, New Mexico. Your well-being is our priority, and we provide a competitive salary along with relocation assistance, a continuing medical education (CME) allowance, and fully covered malpractice insurance.

Practice Highlights:
  • 15-20 deliveries each month

  • A balanced schedule of clinic and operating room time (10-12 OR cases weekly)

  • 1:3 call rotation with 24-hour shifts

What We Are Looking For:
  • * Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in OB/GYN

  • * Exceptional patient care skills, highly driven, and eager to expand their practice

  • * Patient-centered approach and a willingness to collaborate in a team setting

  • * Capability to secure a medical license to practice in New Mexico

  • Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
    As a not-for-profit organization, many physician positions may qualify for the PSLF program. Eligibility and loan forgiveness decisions are determined solely by the federal program.

  • National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program
    Physicians at eligible sites may qualify for federal student loan repayment through the NHSC program, which offers up to $75,000 in tax-free loan repayment for a two-year service commitment in a designated shortage area. Participation is competitive and subject to federal approval and funding availability.

  • New Mexico Physician Tax Credit
    Eligible physicians practicing in New Mexico may qualify for a state income tax credit of up to $10,000 annually, based on program criteria. Eligibility and certification are determined by the State of New Mexico.

  • New Mexico Health Professional Loan Repayment Program
    Physicians in designated shortage areas may be eligible for state-funded student loan repayment, offering up to $75,000 per year in loan assistance with a required service commitment. Participation is competitive and subject to state approval and funding availability.

  • New Mexico Opportunity Scholarship
    Residents may qualify for the Opportunity Scholarship, which can cover up to 100% of tuition and required fees for those pursuing a certificate, associate, or bachelor’s degree at a public college or university in New Mexico. This program is available to both recent graduates and returning adult learners who meet eligibility criteria. Eligibility and award amounts are determined by the State of New Mexico and participating institutions.

Discover Lincoln County Medical Center:

Lincoln County Medical Center (LCMC) is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Ruidoso, New Mexico, offering general and acute healthcare services to the primary service areas of Lincoln and parts of Otero County, including the Mescalero Apache Reservation. LCMC operates medical clinics in Ruidoso, Hondo, Carrizozo, Capitan, and Corona, as well as a sliding scale dental clinic in Carrizozo to improve healthcare access for all residents of Lincoln County. LCMC provides specialty services often unavailable in frontier settings, including obstetrics, cardiology, orthopedic, and general surgery services. Recently, LCMC expanded its offerings to include hematology and oncology, minimizing the need for residents to travel for these services. Additionally, LCMC oversees the operations of Lincoln County Emergency Medical Services (LCEMS), which delivers emergency medical services across over 5,000 square miles in Lincoln County.
