Pharmacist in Conway, AR

A 359-bed Level 1 Trauma Center and Level 4 NICU teaching hospital is seeking an experienced inpatient pharmacist to support its fast-paced, team-oriented pharmacy operations. This facility is also recognized as a leading pediatric medical provider and a teaching hospital with a commitment to progressive patient care.

Location: Conway, AR
Position Type: Contract or direct hire
Shift Hours:

• Night shift: Thursday–Saturday, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Sunday–Wednesday, 8:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Weekend option: Friday–Sunday, 11:00 AM–11:30 PM
  Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off (starting Thursday night); weekend option available; no call required

Responsibilities include:

• Providing comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services during night shifts in a trauma and teaching hospital environment
• Handling complex medication preparations, including intravenous therapies
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize medication use and patient outcomes
• Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Participating in clinical rounds and providing pharmaceutical expertise to healthcare staff

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist (RPH) in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience
• IV experience or IV certification is mandatory
• Ability to work independently during night shifts
• Must test negative for nicotine use, as part of hospital policy
