Position: Mechanical AssemblyPosition: permanentSalary: £28000 to £30420 per annumWorking hours: 7:45 - 4:45pm Mon – Thurs and 7:45 – 12:45pm FriBenefits: 25 days annual leave per annum, plus bank holidays, Company pension scheme, Employee assistance programme (subject to probation period)Profit related bonus scheme (subject to probation period), overtimesWe are now seeking to recruit a mechanical assembly to work for engineering manufacturing company based in Tewkesbury. The appropriate mechanical assembler would be responsible for the accurate and efficient assembly of components and products in line with engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions and quality standardsResponsibilities:Build sub-assemblies and final assembliesFit helicoils, threaded inserts and mechanical componentsFollow work instructions to assemble chassis and other components using techniques that include adhesives and screwsApply adhesives and operate curing ovensCarry out post-cure operations including pin hole fixingFitting of Lee plugs and restrictor valves using a mechanical pressUse hand tools safely and effectivelyRequirements:Assembly or manufacturing experienceAttention to detailAbility to follow instructionsExperience with hand toolsIf you think this role might be of an interest, please contact Marta Kosno 01453 852 542 and forward your CV toOmega is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
