We are looking to recruit a Social media and Content Executive to join our team based at our Midlands site . You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £28,000 - £29,000 per annum .The Royal Air Force Museum is as a national museum, a Government non-departmental public body (NDPB) and a registered charity.We have two public sites in the Midlands and London and a stored collection at Stafford. These are:• Health and Wellbeing• Equity, Diversity and Inclusion• SustainabilityWhat we are looking for in the Social Media and Content Executive role:We are currently looking to recruit a creative and enthusiastic Social media & Content Executive to support the delivery of the Museum's Digital Marketing and Social Media Strategy. The successful candidate will support the creation of engaging digital content, management of social media platforms, audience engagement, campaign delivery, and analytics reporting to help grow the Museum's online presence and visitor engagement.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 month's experience creating content for social media platforms, strong communication skills, and an understanding of digital marketing, photography/videography, and audience engagement. They will be organised, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment.As a Social media & Content Executive, responsibilities will include:Creating and scheduling social media content across multiple platformsSupporting digital marketing campaigns and eventsCommunity management and audience engagementPhotography and videography supportAnalytics reporting and performance monitoringSupporting wider marketing and commercial activitiesThe post will be based at our Midlands site.Occasional evening and weekend working may be required to support events, campaigns, and content capture activities.The closing date for applications is: 5 August 2026Interviews will take place on: 14 August 2026If you think you have what it takes and want to be part of this exciting journey, please visit the jobs page on our website for further information.
