Job Description
We are recruiting aPlanned Maintenance Managerto join a respected social housing group, leading the delivery of planned investment and capital works programmes across the housing stock. As aPlanned Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of senior surveyors, surveyors and technical assistants, overseeing planned maintenance projects from inception through to completion, and ensuring high-quality services are delivered to residents.\n

- Managing a teamof surveyors, senior surveyors, technicalassistants and external contractors \n
- Overseeing the delivery of planned maintenance and capital investment programmes, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget \n
- Managing contractor performance and ensuring works meet quality, compliance, and health and safety standards \n
- Monitoring budgets, financial performance, and programme delivery \n
- Building strong relationships with internal teams, residents, contractors, and external stakeholders \n
- Ensuring compliance with relevant housing legislation, building regulations, and organisational policies \n
- Producing reports, analysing performance data, and identifying opportunities for continuous service improvement \n
- Driving excellent customer service throughout the delivery of planned works programmes \n

- Previous experience managing planned maintenance or capital works within social housing \n
- Minimum of HNC in Building Studies \n
- Experience leading and developing a team \n
- Strong knowledge of planned investment programmes, construction, and contract management \n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills \n
- A relevant construction, surveying, or property qualification \n
- A full UK driving licence \n
