Raytheon UK has exciting new perm opportunity for a Production Associate to join our team in Livingston.As a Production Associate, you will work within an electronics manufacturing facility, with potential requirement to travel to the alternative site (Glenrothes) when needed.This role will be working day shift hours (37hrs per week) - Mon - Wed 07:30 - 17:18 & Thurs 07:30 - 17:06.We are able to offer a position where you will get full training to be able to be successful within the role, your first few weeks will be part of a training programme to provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills.Interviews and training will be conducted at our Glenrothes site with with all successful candidates receiving compensation for travel during the 5 week training duration.You must be eligible and willing to gain BPSS clearance.Responsibilities:Soldering and inspection to ANSI-J STD/IPC610Mechanical and wiring assemblyKit preparationBonding and coating.Testing of assemblies and sub-assemblies using specialised equipmentRequired Skills and Experience:Previous experience in a similar environment / roleGood manual dexterityBasic PC skillsQuality focused, a high emphasis on the importance of quality to the customerAble to work both independently and as part of a teamRequired to pass basic eye test (including colour blindness)Desirable Skills & Experience:Previous electronics and mechanical assembly experienceGood communication skillsOrganisational skillsBenefits and Work Culture37hr working week - usually across Monday - Thursday25 days holiday + statutory public holidays, plus opportunity to buy and sell up to 5 days and up to 5 paid days volunteering10.5% company pension contribution with 6% employee contributionAnnual company bonus scheme (discretionary)6 times salary Life Assurance with pensionFlexible Benefits scheme with extensive salary sacrifice schemes, including Health Cashplan, Dental, and Cycle to Work, amongst othersEnhanced sick payEnhanced family friendly policies including enhanced maternity, paternity & shared parental leaveRaytheon UKWe take immense pride in being a leader in defence and aerospace technology.
