Childcare Solicitor// Hybrid// Nort East// £65ph

My Local Authority client based in the North East are looking for a Childcare Solicitor to come in on an initial 8 month contract with view to extension. The role will consist of the below responsibilities:

1. To support the Chief Solicitor to provide a comprehensive, efficient and effective legal services to the Council.

1. To carry out research and advise on all aspects of local government law and practice, with supervision.
\n

\n
1. To assist in the preparation of legal proceedings including drafting applications and preparing and maintain associated paperwork.
\n

\n
1. To attend court, tribunals and other meetings in order to observe proceedings, make records and ensure that the local authority carries out its duties in respect of the same.
