Production Assistant

Location: Hampshire

Salary: £48-53K

We're recruiting for a hands-on Production Assistant to join a busy manufacturing environment, supporting the day-to-day running of production operations.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing, CNC, production coordination or team leadership who enjoys keeping operations organised and running efficiently.

• Support daily production activities and monitor performance
\n
• Coordinate training, attendance, overtime and workforce planning
\n
• Manage production resources, tooling and consumables
\n
• Assist with maintenance coordination and issue escalation
\n
• Track quality actions and continuous improvement activities
\n
• Promote a safe, organised and efficient shopfloor environment
\n

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
\n
• Background in production coordination, team leading or similar
\n
• Strong organisational and communication skills
\n
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems
\n
• Knowledge of CNC machining or lean manufacturing principles is advantageous
\n
• Proactive, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
