Senior Finance Business Partner

Marc Daniels is working with a well-established business in London to recruit a Senior Finance Business Partner to join its finance team.

This is a highly visible role, working closely with senior stakeholders to provide commercial insight, challenge assumptions, and support decision-making across the business.

The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years' experience in a similar finance business partnering or commercial finance role, with strong analytical ability, confidence in presenting to stakeholders, and a proactive commercial mindset. An FMCG background is strongly preferred, as experience in a fast-paced, consumer-driven environment will be highly valued.

  Partner with key stakeholders to support commercial and strategic decisions.

  Produce insightful analysis, reporting, and commentary to drive performance.

  Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.

\n
• \n

  Review financial performance, identify trends, and highlight risks and opportunities.

\n
• \n

  Challenge and influence non-finance teams using clear financial insight.

\n
• \n

  Work closely with the wider finance team to improve processes and reporting.

What you need

• \n

  3-7 years' experience in a similar role.

\n
• \n

  Strong finance business partnering or commercial finance experience.

\n
• \n

  FMCG background strongly preferred.

\n
• \n

  Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

\n
• \n

  Strong Excel and analytical skills.

\n
• \n

  A commercial mindset with the ability to influence at all levels.

\n
• \n

  CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualified, or studying toward qualification, depending on the client brief.
