Description
\nThe Project Manager supports operations by leading commercial electrical projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards. The Project Manager 3 serves as a primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and trade partners, while providing leadership, oversight, and accountability across all phases of project execution.

\nEssential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
\nTasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
\n- \n
- Assume primary project leadership responsibilities in partnership with internal teams and project personnel. \n
- Evaluate contractual scope of work and establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards in alignment with Enterprise Electrical guidelines. \n
- Plan, organize, and staff key project positions through coordination with superintendents and subordinate project management staff. \n
- Initiate and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors. \n
- Negotiate, prepare, and issue purchase order and subcontracts. \n
- Monitor and control construction progress through administrative oversight of on site supervision. \n
- Develop, issue, and maintain master project schedules to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget. \n
- Manage all financial aspects of projects including cost control, billings, collections, profitability, and cash flow. \n
- Identify and manage project risks by proactively addressing issues and implementing corrective actions as needed. \n
- Ensure all project documentation and controls comply with contract requirements and Enterprise Electrical standards. \n
- Supervise and mentor other project managers and assistant project managers when assigned. \n
- Perform additional responsibilities as directed by leadership or as project needs require. \n
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills
\nRequired:
\n- \n
- Bachelor’s degree; or 5 years of previous experience in construction, finance, or project management \n
Experience Requirements:
\n- \n
- 3 to 5 years of experience managing commercial electrical construction projects. \n
- Experience managing projects ranging from $500,000 to $3,000,000. \n
- Strong working knowledge of construction design, finance, scheduling, and project management practices. \n
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
\n- \n
- Strong understanding of construction design, project finance, and management principles \n
- Knowledge of corporate and industry standards, practices, and processes \n
- Ability to build and maintain positive client relationships while meeting project objectives \n
- Strong project planning skills including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively \n
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and maximize performance \n
- OSHA 30 certification required or must be obtained within six months of hire \n
- Ability to meet all jobsite access requirements with no outstanding restrictions \n

- Skill in managing conflict and addressing issues proactively to maintain positive working relationships \n
- Ability to interpret construction documents, contracts, drawings, and specifications \n
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to track budgets, forecasts, and project performance \n
- Ability to mentor and develop team members through guidance, feedback, and accountability \n
- Capacity to work effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines and project milestones \n

License/Certification
\nPreferred: Journeyman’s License, Working Knowledge of Accubid Estimating Software
\nWorking Environment & Conditions/Physical Requirements
\n- \n
- Office based with regular presence on active construction sites \n
- Ability to walk job sites, climb stairs, and navigate commercial construction environments \n
- Occasional extended hours may be required based on project demands \n

Competitive pay: $120-185,000 DOE
