Cardiovascular Technologist I Cardiac Cath Lab I Variable Days Shift | Gainesville

The role involves delivering essential patient care within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Responsibilities include circulating, scrubbing, and documenting both diagnostic and interventional procedures related to adult interventions, heart failure, and pulmonary services. The position requires the operation of relevant medical equipment and software, along with maintaining professional interactions with both patients and colleagues.

Essential Education and Experience:

• An Associate's Degree from a recognized Cardiovascular Technology Program.
• or
• An Associate's Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.

Licensure, Certification, and Registration:

• If the candidate holds an Associate's Degree from a Cardiovascular Technology Program, they must be certified by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
• If the candidate has an Associate's Degree from a Radiologic Technologist Program, they must have the Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI), or Radiography (R) Registration Category from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with a preference for the CI registration.
