Journeyman level — can complete task little to no supervision (not a helper position)

• Location: Cartersville/Euharlee, GA (Plant Bowen)

• Pay Rate: $32–$35 per hr
\n
• Per Diem: $16 per hr
\n
• Hr/Wk: 60 hrs scheduled (6×10s) — up to 70 during ramp-up
\n
• Weekly Earnings: $3,200–$3,900+ potential with OT and per diem
\n
• Duration: 12 months +
\n

Scope: Underground Duct Banks — PVC assembly, spacers, multi-level banks, rigid stub-ups, concrete-encased runs, manhole terminations

\n
• Skills:

• Reading duct bank drawings — plans, sections, elevations
\n
• PVC conduit assembly & solvent welding
\n
• Setting duct spacers, building multi-level banks
\n
• Rigid conduit — threading, bending, stub-ups
\n
• Manhole terminations, mandrel & pull-line
\n
• Trench work, pour watch
\n
\n

Scope: Grounding — ground grid, bare copper, Cadweld/exothermic, ground rods

\n
• Skills:

\n
• Ground grid installation — bare copper
\n
• Cadweld/exothermic welding (big plus)
\n
• Compression ground connections
\n
• Driving ground rods, test wells
\n
• Bonding equipment, structures, fences
\n
\n

Scope: Temp Power & Lighting — temp services, panels, spider boxes, GFCI

\n
• Skills:

\n
• Temp services — poles, meters, disconnects
\n
• Temp panels, spider boxes, cords
\n
• Temp lighting — string & area
\n
• GFCI compliance, LOTO
\n
\n

Scope: Medium Voltage — cable terminations, stress cones, load-break/dead-break elbows

• Skills:

• MV cable prep & terminations
\n
• Stress cones
\n
• Load-break/dead-break elbow installation
\n

Work Conditions:

• 100% outdoor underground work — Georgia summer heat

• Trenches, dirt, concrete — physically demanding
